About me
After graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a Bachelor of Science in Music and Sound Technology, I accepted a freelance sound position at a highly established outside broadcasting company where I gained invaluable experience and was lucky enough to work on some amazing productions such as Match of the Day, The Sports Personality Awards and 24 hours in A&E.
During the pandemic, I found myself needing to adapt and re-analyse my career goals and decided to take the plunge into the financial services industry, joining a local Independent Financial Advisor where I worked for just over two years.
Starting from the ground up and eager to learn, I developed a well-rounded foundation and skills as an IFA Administrator, dealing with all client requests and needs, and have now started working towards my CII Level 4 Diploma having passed the first CII R01 exam.
Outside of work, my passions include seeing family and friends, continuing my love of music writing songs or noodling on the guitar in the garden (weather permitting), and being a devout NBA/Football fan – LA Lakers and Watford FC respectively. Last year I also took up cycling, racking up over 1,200km on the bike to train for the London to Brighton Cycle to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
