Business Manager

About me

I have been working in Financial Services for over 21 years. My first role back in 2000 was with a local IFA practice. By joining the firm during its infancy, it enabled me to gain experience within the different areas of the business during its expansion. I managed all client events and business development campaigns and projects. Then in 2014 I went on to join another local IFA practice as the Executive Assistant to the Principal. Again, my role enabled me to work in many different areas within the business including managing the project of our acquisition to a national IFA firm. Once the acquisition was complete, I was recruited by the national firm to assist the Head of Learning & Development set up the L&D function and design and implement the strategy to create a learning culture aligned to commercial objectives and client needs. I worked in a modest team of two, delivering to an audience of over 600 colleagues. Due to many factors, I decided to take a career break during the pandemic in 2020 to reassess my future career and that brought me to Kubera Wealth. Some may call it fate.

Kubera Wealth is at such an exciting time in its journey, and I am thrilled to have joined at such a time. My role as Business Manager is to keep our internal operations running smoothly, allowing Stuart and Graeme to focus on you, our clients.

I am married to Paul with two grown up sons. I am nanny to our granddaughter Florence aka Flo who certainly keeps me on my toes, but the beauty is I can give her back at the end of the day. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. During the pandemic I started looking after myself a little more which resulted in me joining a gym. I now attend 4-5 classes a week and I feel great! I love to visit new places in our motorhome especially places by the coast with dog friendly beaches for my two Hungarian Vizslas to let off some steam.
